In a bare block of 10% Kind & Knoxx, the load worked as advertised fragmenting in a star pattern within a couple of inches and leaving a permanent wound cavity of about four inches in diameter. Second was the Magsafe of 100 gr. (I believe…they were loose rounds provided by a fellow officer) The recoil and muzzle flash were pronounced, with a bit of smoke and particulate In a bare block of 10% Kind & Knoxx, the load worked as advertised fragmenting much as their advertisement depicts. It appeared to begin to fragment within two inches and developed in to a “bomb burst” pattern, like a aerial firework, ending within eight inches of penetration.

Third was a the DRT 80 gr. Recoil was on par with a standard velocity 9mm load and muzzle flash was a dull red/orange. (nothing that might impede vision in reduced light) In a bare block of 10% Kind and Knoxx, the projectile immediately fragmented and actually ejected some gelatin on to the deck. The permanent wound cavity was aprx. six and one half inches in diameter with particulate throughout. The cavity void approximated the size of a regulation soft ball and showed very little entrapped particulate past eight inches of penetration. Some remaining rounds were fired at “social” distances out to about fifteen meters. All grouped within two inches when fired as fast as the sights settled.

All rounds were fired from a stock Glock 17 at a distance of seven yards. Your ammunition is truly something to behold! The devastation inflicted in flesh simulate was incredible!
I would not hesitate to recommend this ammunition for carry!

SFC Buczkowski, USAR, shot the 9mm using a Glock Model 19. He shot the 4″ pipe from 1, 2, and 3 yards with total disintegration of the projectile. No ricochet!

The most impressive shot was an unopened 12 oz plastic bottle of water with the 9mm, at 10 yards. It exploded! There was a very clean entry point, but did not penetrate the back, the round disintegrated inside the bottle and blew out the side. Amazing.

Most of our officers carry either a .38 caliber revolver, or a 9mm pistol. We are always concerned with finding a balance between stopping power, and collateral damage. I believe your ammo satisfies that fine line.

My experience with non-lead projectile technology is extensive. Having applied DRT’s technology in military, hunting and target applications, I believe their non-lead projectiles are the answer. DRT bullets continue to amaze me with their unlimited performance and application potential.

DRT bullets answer most every requirement with an array of application possibilities.
